Two salvaged bistro glass windows - Cafe Français 47¼" x 23¾"

SKU: 15777

US$1,950 US$2,371
These two glass windows date from the early twentieth century. They are beautifully etched - one reads Cafe and the other Français. They were originally displayed in double doors in a bistro in Paris. Under the text is a pretty floral arrangement etched into the glass. There is a large air bubble in the glass of the 'Cafe' pane that is about the diameter of a golf ball.
The installation possibilities with these panes are endless - they could be mounted on mirrors, transformed into doors, used as a backsplash or as an internal window in a kitchen or wine cellar. A rare rind.

Condition and wear consistent with age and use.
