This ceramic platter is a beautiful example of French majolica, or barbotine dating from the early twentieth century. It is decorated with white and purple asparagus at its interior, and green leaves and purple artichokes on its border. Branded KG Saint Clement. It was sourced from a private collection that was held for over fifty years.
