19th-century silver Empire-style tea pot

Dating from the nineteenth century, a handsome silver teapot with Empire-style elements. The spout is shaped as an eagle's head. The piece rests on three dainty perched legs with lion's paw-shaped feet. Acanthus leaves complete the decorations. The angular black wood handle of impressive size balances the piece.

The teapot is marked with the silver weight of 780 grams. A beautiful piece to add a French elegance to your tea service or to decorate a shelf when not in use. Please note photos for close inspection of condition.
